Um estranho enviou um cardigã da Taylor Swift super difícil de ser encontrado nas lojas para uma mega fã da cantora que estava internada com uma bactéria que quase tirou a vida dela. Quando viu o presente, a menina não pôde acreditar!

A garotinha Kennedy, de Detroit, Estados Unidos, foi muito guerreira. Internada com Influenza B, ela acabou contraindo uma bactéria que caiu na corrente sanguínea. Durante o longo período de internação, ela passou por seis cirurgias.

Agora, quase recuperada, ela recebeu vários presentes no hospital e um deles a deixou muito muito feliz. Fã da Taylor Swift, ela abriu o cardigã, que veio junto com doces e adesivos e já quis vestir na mesma hora! “Eu amei, ele é muito lindo, vou querer vestir esse noite”, disse ela emocionada.

Bactéria Strep A

O que era uma influenza b, virou um baita problema sério. Kennedy pegou uma bactéria grave que destrói o tecido debaixo da pele e causa fasceíte necrotizante.

De início, os médicos não conseguiam identificar porque o caso da garotinha foi ficando tão grave, mas assim que descobriram, viram o problemão que era.

A bactéria atacou principalmente o olho da pequena, que precisou de seis cirurgias para remover tudo da corrente sanguínea.

Mas Kennedy foi brava e batalhou pela vida, sempre com o apoio da família e amigos.

Quando começou a se recuperar, a mãe, Meghan Mayer abriu uma caixinha postal para que os internautas enviassem presentes para a filha e um deles surpreendeu.

Ao ver os vídeos da menina no TikTok, e perceber que Kennedy era fã de Taylor, o estranho teve uma ideia genial.

Comprou e embrulhou o “Cardigã 1989” junto com doces para enviar para a menina. “Ela está parecendo ótima. Eu tenho o Cardigã 1989 que merece mais amor e eu pensei em enviar para ela. Posso?”, disse a menina no TikTok.

O Cardigã 1989 é uma peça de roupa muito usada por fãs da cantora pop norte-americana, que representa um de seus álbuns. A peça está esgotada e é bem difícil de ser encontrada.

Vestiu na hora!

Meghan, a mãe, topou na hora a ideia sabendo que isso poderia alegrar e muito o dia da filha.

A menina abriu um sorrisão quando viu o cardigã e ela já tinha planos. “Eu quero vestir ele essa noite!”.

Kennedy também amou os adesivos que vieram junto com o presente. “Mãe, eu preciso comprar uma garrafa d’água para colar esses adesivos lindos”, disse ela muito feliz.

“Eu estou muito quentinha e fofinha com esse cardigã”, brincou a garota ao vestir a peça de roupa.

Depois de 52 dias internada, a família de Kennedy fecha um capítulo difícil na história, mas que terminou tudo bem.

A menina teve alta do hospital, foi para casa e se recupera junto dos amigos. Ela vai seguir fazendo reabilitação e acompanhada de perto, mas tudo corre muito bem. Que alegria por você, Kennedy!

It’s been 52 days since our nightmare began, and there were moments we really thought we’d be leaving without our first born baby. I’ll never forget those moments, and I’m so extremely grateful that Kennedy is still here and thriving. But… Honesty time: I am scared as heck at the thought of finally being home. We’ve had such amazing support here at the hospital, and the thought of now doing this on our own is a little terrifying. I know she’s ready, we’re ready, but I’m still nervous. Only in the past few days have I realized all the things she’ll need once she’s finally home, like bed rails, a baby monitor (so she can ask for help in the middle of the night), etc. I definitely thought we’d be completely “back to normal” by the time we were discharged. From essentially being in a medically induced coma for eight days, and also being in septic shock, she lost so much strength and mobility. Walking is still a challenge, even with a walker. There will still be a lot of physical therapy in our future, but she’s going to walk, run, ice skate again one day in the near future. She will be losing her toes. We’ve been told this shouldn’t affect her mobility. When I’m in a better place mentally to explain it further, I will. Right now, even typing out those words is still like a knife to the heart. What started as the flu has left our sweet girl with scars and the loss of her toes. It’s hard to not cry when I stop and think about it. Luckily, the anticipation of going home has kept me busy. We have so many wonderful surprises for Kennedy once she’s home, and some for Ellie, too.
